Audrey and Nico's wedding was nothing short of a fairytale brought to life. It was my absolute privilege to document their special day over a weekend in May 2023 at the breathtaking Château de la Flocellière in Vendée, France. Set amidst the stunning landscapes of the Loire Valley, this magnificent castle served as the perfect backdrop for their international celebration, with loved ones journeying from far and wide to partake in their joyous union. Nestled south of Cholet, the château is nestled within a picturesque town straight out of a storybook. Its storied history spans over 900 years, boasting architectural wonders like 13th-century archways, 15th-century pomegranate chutes, and grand 17th-century windows, each a testament to its timeless charm and elegance.
The entire weekend was a whirlwind of joy, laughter, and love. From the heartfelt ceremony to the lively dancing and lavish feasting, every moment overflowed with happiness and celebration. And, of course, what would a French wedding be without copious amounts of champagne flowing? Audrey and Nico are truly a remarkable couple, and it was an absolute pleasure to capture their infectious warmth and kindness. Their genuine love for one another permeated every aspect of the celebration, creating an atmosphere of pure magic and romance that was impossible not to be swept away by.
